Our Kindergarten Readiness Program is for children ages 3-5 who will be attending kindergarten the following school year. In this program, the main focus is on building the educational and social-emotional skills required to enter kindergarten. Throughout the year, children in our Kindergarten Readiness Program will work on educational skills through play and interaction with one another and more structured activities with their classroom teachers. We also utilize the Second Step social-emotional curriculum to set our class up for successful personal growth and future learning. We assess our KRP class twice yearly, and communicate closely with Midlakes School District to ensure that our class is prepared to enter kindergarten in the fall. Our Kindergarten Readiness Program participate in daily outdoor play or activities in our gymnasium. Our center works diligently to comply with COVID-19 hygiene and cleaning standards set by the CDC and NYSOCFS.
