HEAD START

Head Start if a federally funded program that promotes the school readiness of children ages 3-5. The program focuses on cognitive and social/emotional development, and promotes physical health, metal health, dental health, and nutrition. The Head Start program also offers family support and assistance. Acceptance to the Head Start program is income based for Ontario County Residents and is free of charge. Special efforts will be made to provide services for children with special needs and children who are a dual language learners.
